The Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital Health & Wellness Center provides a variety of programs that promote healthy living and disease management before illness and/or injury occurs. Membership includes professional supervision, yoga classes, walking track and gym.

Fitness Assessments
An assessment is a valuable tool that provides statistical information to help develop a personal fitness plan. The information gathered will be used to determine target heart rate, muscle imbalances, range of motion limitations, frequency, intensity and duration of exercises. The cost of the personal assessment includes data collection, results interpretation, exercise prescription and orientation to plan.
FIT Test - This assessment includes measures of weight, body circumferences, lean mass to fat mass ratio, flexibility, muscular strength/endurance and maximal aerobic fitness. Data is used to design a personalized FIT plan to achieve your wellness goals. Cost for this evaluation and FIT plan instruction is $70.
Metabolic Test - This assessment will measure body circumferences, muscular strength, total cholesterol, LDL, HDL, triglyceride levels and submaximal aerobic fitness. A 30-minute nutrition consult is included to evaluate current eating habits and provide suggestions for improved nutrition intake. Fasting is required for blood test. Data is used to design a personalized metabolic plan to achieve your health goals. Cost for this evaluation and plan instruction is $70.
Agility Assessment for Active Adults - For ages 50+, this test assesses walking, lifting, bending, getting up from a chair, stretching, balance and bone density. An exercise plan is then designed to improve range of motion, strength, balance and bone health. Cost for evaluation and plan instruction: $55.
Nutrition Consults
A registered dietitian can help guide you through the steps needed to prevent, maintain or avoid complications of heart disease, obesity or diabetes. Consultations may also benefit those who have food sensitivities, respiratory problems, skin issues or intestinal disorders. Cost per consultation is $75.
