MRI
Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital uses two different MRI systems to capture precise images of the structure and detail of organs, soft tissue and bones. These images can pinpoint all types of issues – from abnormalities to disease – providing physicians with the highly detailed information needed for diagnosis.
In addition to a traditional, closed MRI, Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital also has a new high-field open MRI system. The system offers a broad range of clinical capabilities and features to meet the demand of today's diagnostic imaging professionals, including optimized receiver coils for advanced imaging applications ranging from vascular to orthopedic to women's health.
An open MRI provides patients with a 270 degree unobstructed view, which can ease anxiety and the sense of being confined. The system's powerful technology and ultra-fast workstation may also reduce exam times.
